Bad Traffick: A Leine Basso Novel (Leine Basso Series) (Volume 2)

Bad Traffick - D.V. Berkom What are some of the major themes of this book? Selling children through a auction. Kidnapping and murder.

What do you think the author was trying to accomplish with this novel? Bring awareness to this very real problem. Althought some parts lack cohesiveness, the situation she has addressed is real and definitely deserves more attention than it is getting.

Consider the main character: what does he or she believe in? She believes in protecting children from rape and molestation. She goes out of her way to succeed in her mission.

At the end of the book, do you feel hope for the characters? I feel hope for all of them.

Murder on the First Day of Christmas (Chloe Carstairs Mysteries) (Volume 1)

Murder on the First Day of Christmas - Billie Thomas Favourite character(s) … This is a draw between Chloe and Amanda.

Favourite location / setting … Chloe and Amanda eating at Tony’s the restaurant owned by Tony Trianos. Everyone suspects he is a mob boss or connected somehow.

Favourite scene … I really enjoyed the little tiff with Amanda and Alex. He says no, she say yes. They talk and settle everything.

Favourite quote … “Says the woman who puts the ‘hor’ in ‘horticulture,’” Mom murmured, again eyeing the smaller kissing balls.

Marching With Caesar: Civil War

Marching With Caesar: Civil War - R.W. Peake Did you find this book quick read? This was a not book to be read in a day or so. This book requires about a week to read. Still a great book but not a quick read.

What are your concerns about this book? Would like to know if the author referenced any facts in writing this book.

How did you feel about the main character? Titus seemed to have his hands full and knew what was happening. He did very well at managing this throughout the story.

What did you think of the style of the author? I honestly believe this author could take a telephone book pick names out, write a story and it would be worth reading. Something that would capture readers interest, drawing them in and allowing readers to escape to another world or time.

Were there any other especially interesting characters? Peake wrote with such flair that each character was interesting.
